چکیده
White rust or white blister disease caused by oomycete fungi, Albugo candia is one of the major devastating rapeseed mustard. Continuous emergence new races pathogen responsible for breaking down resistance already existing resistant cultivars. So there need evaluation cultivars as well Brassica to find out stable sources against disease. In this context, 82 different genotypes, including 10 species were evaluated in field, under natural conditions confirmation candida two successive years 2017-18 and 2018-19. Observations percent severity phenotypic reaction taken at time intervals 70, 80 90 DAS. Infection rate area progress curve (AUDPC) calculated each genotype. Out genotypes evaluated, 26 found free from 28 showed moderately while rest susceptible 90DAS. Minimum infection (0.0949) AUDPC (69.44) was observed DRMRJ 127 SIVT-17-19 maximum (0.1008) (588.0) 71 J0002 RH 30, respectively

Competition of Different Densities of Wild Mustard (Brassica kaber) and Rapeseed (Brassica napus) in Greenhouse
A greenhouse experiment was conducted to evaluate the competitive effects of different densities of wild mustardas against rapeseed. The experiment was performed in a randomized complete block design with four replicationsusing replacement series in which wild mustard and rapeseed were respectively planted in different ratios of 4:0, 3:1,2:2, 1:3 and 0:4 plants per pot. Results indicated that t...

Rapeseed-mustard constitutes an important source of edible oil next to soybean, grows under diverse agro ecological situations such as timely / late sown, rainfed / irrigated, sole-& / or mixed crop with cereals (wheat, barley etc.) and rabi (October-April) pulses (chickpea, lentil etc.), where high temperature is the main constraint not only at germination but also at grain filling stage. White rust, caused by Albugo candida, is a serious pathogen of Brassica juncea (Indian mustard) and poses a potential hazard to the presently developing canola-quality B. juncea industry worldwide. A comparative proteomic study was undertaken to explore the molecular mechanisms that underlie the defence responses of Brassica juncea to white rust disease caused by the biotrophic oomycete Albugo ...

In order to quantifying emergence pattern of rapeseed weeds, this experiment was conducted in 40 plots (40 quadrates at Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources University of Khuzestan, and 30 fields of Bavi (30 quadrates), Ahvaz, Iran, in 2016-2017 growing seasons was monitored, counted and recorded weekly. Three different emergence pattern of nine weed species were identified, Prickly lett...
